Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt to receive permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is not a pain-free procedure and the amount of discomfort depends on many factors. Comfort level will vary depending on procedure, but on average pain is typically rated around a 3-6 on a 0-10 pain scale. Clients are numbed prior and throughout the procedure to allow for comfort and stillness.

What if I don't like my results?

First, I please ask that you tell me! While client's are generally very pleased with the work, you're the one wearing it on your face!. Therefore, my primary goal is that you love it so that your life is enhanced in someway through my services. While it can be uncomfortable getting used to a new brow shape on your face. Clients should be prepared for an adjustment period especially in the case of more dramatic transformations. The brows that you will be given are shaped and sized to fit you specifically, therefore you can be confident that the outcome will flatter you, even if you are unsure for a period while your eyes get used to seeing something new.

As a rule I like to tattoo very conservatively. Most women are concered with the work looking "too big" or "too bold" for them and I tend to think that your eyebrows should not be the first thing people see when they look at you. I feel that brows should be a complementary frame that adds structure and definitioin to your face, not be the primary feature that jumps out at people.

We can always add more, but we cannot easily take it away. For this reason, I like to keep the size and color within the clients natural palete and then intensifiy as desired once the foundation of the work is healed

Do I have to get a touch up if I don't think I need one?

Absolutely not! For clients specific to my practice, the work is staying well beyond our previous expectations. Through my experience and observation, I have noted the importance of only tattooing when there's a legitimate need for improvement.
